My little patchwork world xxx

Hello lovely bloggy friends , it's been such a while , life just seems to take over somehow , and it's been very busy here in patchworkandlace house
we are all enjoying the holidays and had a mini break to the stunning yorkshire dales with my little gang but we all came down with a sickness bug so we were glad to come home

we will be on the move again soon too , compared to our last house which was lovely but very old and run down ,this house is very modern and new but the rent is killing us financially so we have found a smaller and a lot cheaper house ,i wont have as much space for all my work but at the end of the day all i need is a table and sewing machine and a place for my fabric and it will be great ,so over the next few weeks there will be a lot of sorting and packing
I am also thinking of having a stall on the market in york maybe twice a month , york is so busy this time of year and i certainly could not afford a shop so this is the next best thing ,i will keep you posted as to how i did
There is always a lot of making going on in my home from quilts to bags my little business has really taken off lately , i am so thrilled with it and love every moment i spend creating and i am here for my little brood too so it all works perfectly
My love for vintage and vintage fabric has grown so much recently ,i now have a lovely collection ,this is just a small part of it , i love the colours , textures and the smell of real vintage fabric , the only problem i have is that i just want to keep it all and never let it go
And to me vintage fabrics and hexagons go hand in hand ,i adore my little chair and plan a lot of vintage fabric , hexie makes over the coming weeks

well time to go my lovely friends ,i will share a link to my shops if you fancy something pretty and handmade

And my facebook page is

much love francine xxxx

  1. What a shame to have less space for your sewing but I am sure you will make your new house look beautiful. I moved this year too, so I know what it is like to have to pack up all your belongings and try and make them fit into a new space. It can be fun as well, and often you have jolly surprises finding things you had forgotten all about! Love all your wonderful work!! Good luck with your house move! :) xx
